ASU-Beebe Presents Best-Selling Author Cara Brookins
Cara Brookins is the author of Rise: How a House Built a Family, a memoir about escaping domestic violence with her four children and building a 3,500 square foot home from the ground up with their own hands. Join us Tuesday, September 19, at 7 p.m., to hear more about Cara's experience and powerful story. Cara is a graduate of Searcy High School and received her associate degree from ASU-Beebe.
"After I wrote Rise, I realized there was so much more I could do to motivate others to build a bigger future. I want to blow the roof off your goals by insisting you do something impossible. The only way to change your path is to shock yourself and everyone around you into a bigger vision of who you are. Want an impossibly BIG future? No excuses. No delays. No quitters. Let’s build something together!" - Cara Brookins
